The ongoing bilateral joint exercise with the Indian Air Force and Oman's Royal Air Force Oman (RAFO) came to an end. The Indian Air Force reported that the army was returning home after the conclusion of the exercise. The exercise started from 17 October at Air Force Base Masirah, Oman and ended on 26 October.

The aim of the exercise was to foster closer ties between the Indian-Oman military forces and to exchange mutual best practices. This is the first time the MiG-29 fighter jets of the Indian Air Force have participated in an international manoeuvre outside Bhatar. Earlier Eastern Bridge-IV 17 was held in Jamnagar, India.
